About Us

We the Salesians of Don Bosco commit ourselves to the integral formation of the young, especially the poor and disadvantaged, through humanization and spiritualization of individuals.

St. John Bosco, popularly known as Don Bosco, was born in a poor peasant family in Italy in the year 1815. By hard work and preserving effort, he educated himself and became a priest. He dedicated his whole life for the welfare of the youth. He developed an educational system grounded on the three principles of Reason, Religion , and Love that was later known as the Preventive System.

Don Bosco is known today as the Friend of Youth. He used to say "It is enough that you are for me to love you". He was a man far ahead of his time, with a passion for young people. He is truly a source of inspiration and a model for the young.
